How We’re Doing it.

Step 1. We will Use a meditative process to identify and connect with your target parts to begin re-building a relationship with you. The process includes learning how to access a state of compassion and curiosity that is essential for healing because nothing can heal with judgement! You will establish a relationship with your parts to learn about you and to witness your own story. This is the foundation of self-awareness and self-acceptance.

Step 2.  Self-therapy will teach you how to Develop a trusting and appreciative relationship with your protective parts. Learn to address the fears and concerns of your protective parts, practice respectful communication with your parts and gain permission to proceed with healing your vulnerable parts. This is the foundation of self-trust and self-leadership. The process demands respect and acknowledging your own boundaries is necessary. Self-respect is a powerful part of healing and living your best life!

Step 3. Heal your traumatic wounds.  I know this sounds easy, and it can be easier than you think. This process will allow you to develop a connected and loving relationship with the parts of you that have been hurt and you will learn how to witness your pain instead of re-experiencing it. Throughout the process you will release the negative beliefs or burdens that are running your life unconsciously. You will practice being WITH your pain rather than being IN your pain and you will learn how to decrease the intensity of any uncomfortable emotion. You will practice managing your internal system with your Spirit or higher-self as your leader and guide. This is the essence of self-love.

Important Disclaimer:

This is self-therapy.

There are no guarantees. The only guarantee is the one you give yourself to put in the work.  Self-therapy is very respectful of the pain we all carry.

You will learn powerful techniques to understand your mind, but you must respect the parts of you that protect you from pain. 

It is advised that you never disregard the ways you protect yourself and dive into deep issues. 

Self-therapy is safe to do on your own and many will not have any issues while receiving life changing results, however, it is not a substitute for psychotherapy for those who may have a mental health diagnosis.

Unfortunately, there are some people who have experienced a tremendous about of pain and trauma and their internal systems are sensitive, reactive, chaotic, unstable, or strongly conflicted.

If this is the case, self-therapy could trigger intense emotional or physical reactions. The work could activate psychosomatic reactions. You may feel spaced out or confused in the middle or after a session.

This does not happen will the majority of individuals, but if you find you aren’t feeling safe to move forward, please stop practicing self-therapy and consult a psychotherapist. If you aren’t sure, try out the course for 14 days and work carefully paying attention to your reactions.

If you are dependent on a parent, guardian, or spouse who couldn’t tolerate the way you relate to him or her, consider working with a psychotherapist who could also work with you and the people in your life.
